Many businesses that rely on computers to function effectively or who maintain extensive computer networks will often draft in a third party company that offers IT services to manage their IT resources. There are an increasing number of companies that specialise in providing their clients with IT services and this can be seen as being directly linked to our society’s increasing reliance on the internet and IT to function smoothly. These companies will typically be able to provide their clients with a variety of IT services ranging from installing networks to small acts of maintenance and many businesses who do not have their own in house IT personnel often rely on these companies to ensure their computer systems stay up and running.
Many of these companies will also be able to offer their clients a variety of IT services including web site design and web development. The web development industry is expanding rapidly and many companies who formerly offered other IT services have expanded to included web development services too.
There are also many other smaller, independent companies who offer IT services to private individuals and smaller businesses instead of larger corporations and businesses. These small companies will typically be able to perform rudimentary repairs and acts of maintenance for small computer systems and networks. However it is unlikely they will be able to offer some of the more extensive and complex IT services that are offered by the more established IT companies.
